could anyone upload a working save (BOTH savefile and OPT file)?

on a new computer getting past that bell is almost impossable

This comes a bit late, but I got around the entire scene by following this tip by kranmer:

"Well i did have a quick look at this problem and i found i way of glitching past it using my save anywhere

Basically to make it glitch you save while on the bell screen (using saveanywhere), then load that save by pressing ESC then clicking load, then you will be able to walk right through the door even though its closed.

Just make sure to not save when you are on the same screen as a quest relevant character, if you save in the pub or the camp for example many characters vanish and you can mess up your savegame.
