Hi,

In the Civ 4 game, when I try to save I got an error. Do I need to save the game in an other way? Thanks for your responses.

It says "Error creating file c:\users\emre.civ4savedgame". I tried other folders but did not work.
Is it possible that there is an alternative way to save the game through GOG?

Some things that helped other users:
* Running the game as administrator.
* Changing read/write permissions to the save folder.
* There might be a bug if the folder route contains special characters (non-English standard characters).
* An antivirus or antimalware software might be blocking the game to save files.
