The Classic Redux adds tweaks to the engine, supporting higher resolution. Basically the game doesn't look like crap on an HD monitor. Also achievements, if thats your thing. I think there is an experimental Multiplayer mode on the Steam Version, but I don't know what happend to it and since Steam right now is as broken as the WoW Login servers I can't check.
There is no guarantee if the game will be on GOG connect. So, decide for yourself is the DRM free version is worth buying it again. I did. Also because it was pulled for germans from Steam.

Redux doesn't have the expansions. I prefer the plain Dos release. Using bmouse it actually feels better with mouse look than redux does. See my poorly written review on the SW redux store page for a little more on my opinions of that release.

Redux does come with the expansions Twin Dragon and Wanton Destruction as this pops up: Here

Oh shit, why did I think they were absent? Were they added recently?

No they were part of redux since launch on both steam and GOG.
My only gripe with Shadow Warrior Classic Redux is that the GOG version doesn't support Linux...yet.
I've had SWCR on Steam for a good stretch now, and feel that it's a pretty good "upgrade".
SWC (DOSBox version) is among the best of the Build Engine games - along with Duke Nukem 3D, of course.
I just tested the Windows version of Shadow Warrior Classic Redux on Linux Mint 17.3, via Wine.
Runs damn good.

Though I'd prefer a native Linux version, this will suffice...for now.

Hopefully, we'll get the Megaton Edition of Duke Nukem 3D (with Linux support) on GOG as well.
Fingers crossed.

Gearbox now has all the rights to Duke, including Duke3D.
Abandon All Hope.

And, from what I gather, Gearbox is owned by Valve.

It's not. But not a single Gearbox (or 2K, for that matter) game has been released on GOG yet AND they are doing their own Duke3D rerelease (WITHOUT the addons).

Well, I still have Duke 3D Atomic Edition on my GOG account. All three installers (Win/Mac/Linux) are backup copied to my external hard drive as well. The great benefit of DRM-free software.

Well, anyone who owned Megaton Edition on Steam got to keep it, so it's not like I lost something. Still, it sucks that ME is unavailable for purchase.

We have one Gearbox game: https://www.gog.com/game/homeworld_remastered_collection

And multiple 2K games: https://www.gog.com/games?devpub=2k_games&sort=bestselling&page=1
