You can use those consoles to replenish your energy supply. But I never actually used them.

They give you an insane energy regeneration boost for 2 minutes. You cannot stay invisible permanently, it does not affect energy drain, but think it like this: if you have the effect on, you can shoot almost continuously with the heavy energy rifle (that normally has 4 shots from full energy and it takes about ten seconds to be able to shoot again).

They are incredibly useful if you use an energy pistol or some weapon type that has low-energy special attacks, like single swords.
