In Windows there's some problems that users will enconter when trying to play this great game. I had to disable audio hardware acceleration to run it on XP. And also, there's the need to install Quicktime or codecs to run.
Well, I found a better solution: just try it with Wine on Linux, and it will run perfectly, without any need of codecs or QuickTime.

I'm using Wine 1.4 on Ubuntu. With luck, this solution will work for everyone.

Errr....that's a fine solution IF your also running GNU/Linux already. But I wouldn't install a new OS just to run one game....and I rather liked this one.....also the game does not run in the current 1.4 stable version, so you have to use 1.5 testing

No, I'm using Wine 1.4, not 1.5.
You could test on a VM on VirtualBox or VMWare to see the result too. I tested only on my installed Ubuntu. Also a small Linux partition solves the problem.

I just dragged out the old Quick time player that came with the game from the game folder, then dragged in a shortcut alias to the latest quick time player from my computer and it worked fine!
