Like others have said, the game starts out well but soon gets tedious. I don't think I've ever seen a game reuse so many enemies, and most of the game is pointless meandering through repetitive areas. Also there isn't enough advancement at the later levels--you hardly ever get new weapons, for example.
The straw that broke the camel's back for me though was the combat at higher levels: several of my characters would miss way over half the time, making them almost useless. This was really irritating.
