The game loads to the menu screen and the only keys that work are up, down, right and left. What key triggers an onscreen option/event?

'Ctrl' is the only other key you'll need to use. I call it the 'action' key as it literally does everything from changing menu options, to passing, to scoring a goal. It really is a bit of a throwback to its Amiga origins (single same-use joystick buttons).
