I was going to do a let's play of this game and upload it to Youtube however for some reason the game doesn't recognize the key stroke that I hit to start the recorder so nothing recorded which is really annoying as I got all the way to the end of Chapter 1. Action! was the program I was going to use to record the game btw. Will it work or do I need another program. Please help thank you. Sanitarium is an awesome game and I really wanted to upload a let's play of it. Normally F9 starts the recorder however it didn't work for this game.

I'm by no means an expert in recording/broadcasting software, but many streamers on twitch.tv tend to use either or [url=https://www.xsplit.com/]XSplit. Outstarwalker, a GOG twitch streamer, did a mini-series on Sanitarium just recently, and she uses OBS, so that one should work with the game, at least in theory.

I tried OBS and for some reason the video and sound didn't match up it looked fine when it was recording but when I played it back the video was sped up and the audio was slowed down. I managed to get Bandicam to work but I have to use the rectangle on a screen option, the DirectX/OpenGL window option doesn't work as the F12 key doesn't work inside the game. It's rather annoying cause I really don't want to record my desktop I want to start the recorder once I begin the game. I tried to wait till I started the game, minimized the game window, and then start the recorder but it doesn't pick up anything the only way to pick up footage is to start the recorder in the desktop and then start the game which just looks rather tacky. Yes I'm rather a perfectionist lol Anyway sorry for rambling on if anyone has any other suggestions please help me.
