Like in title, game simply keeps freezing and then crashing with simple "program has encountered an error" standard Windows message. While it was slightly annoying at start, as it kept appearing randomly every hour or two, now it happens constantly - Im unable to even finish "Ho Boat" mission as right now for the fifth time in row game crashing mid-mission.

OS is Windows 10 Edu, with i7-6700k and RX480 on GA-Z170-HD3P motherboard. I tried compatibility modes and administrator rights, nothing helps. Its impossible to even play the game at this point.

I hope somebody has figured out a solution to this because I am getting the same kind of crashes. Sometimes I can play for hours on end and be okay but other times I get a crash after 30 minutes of play. I have yet to see anything as bad as 5 in an hour.

Some missions in SR3 and SR4 have peculiar errors that occur when your graphics settings are too high for your system, or the frame rate dips so low that the game has gameplay running faster than the image you're seeing.

For this particular mission, reduce your graphics settings to low and/or run the DirectX 9 version of the game, then play that mission, and when you're done, return all settings to the way they were.
