I bought this gem to play with the co-op mod, but it seems that the mod doesn't recognize the gog installation of Rune Classic. If I run the mod installer, it says that "the full version of Rune is required".

Has anyone successfully tried to run the co-op mod?

Regarding the co-op mod, I'd recommend to get some difficulty tweaks for it.
When I installed it, normal meant something like ultra-hard where you had to hit the most basic type of enemy around 20 times :S

Where do you get the Rune Gold installer? The ModDB download only has one Windows installer and that one doesn't work. I've also tried the one on rune-federation.org, still not working.

It's right there as a donwloadable goodie in your GOG game shelf (check my attached image).

Oh, the way rfranz was talking made it sound like there was a special Rune Co-Op installer for Classic Edition, not that you needed Gold Edition to play.

So do we both need the same version to coop together or does the gold version not work with the regular version
