When playing ROTT in Linux the game screen is surrounded on all sides by a large blank (black) border.

Any idea how to get rid of it?

Thx.

In windows you could just use a source port like Winrottgl. There is SDLrott for Linux, which might work if you can figure out how to compile it.

If you're using dosbox, this video may help you with zooming in to fill the screen.

There's also rottexpr

Which is a fork of the sdlrott by Ryan C. Gordon.

The high resolution support is very welcome.
Mouselook with autoaim off is a bit wonky though.

I can't see any way of loading the Deluxe or Extreme ROTT levels with the Linux port though :(

The bonus levels are included as GOG Goodies but can also be found here.
