My system is windows 7 32 bit with a pentium double.

Whenever we try to launch Revenant from the launcher we get the message 'Revenant has stopped working' and it closes.

We've tried tweaking the settings, running compatibility mode, Disable Fast Surface Lock or whatever, but it still gives us the same result.
Have you tried putting your desktop in 16-bit mode?

Is that as in 16-bit color mode or something else? If it is color, then yes we already tried.
Sorry you're having problems running the game. You could also try setting Force Software Rendering from the launcher inside the game folder, if that doesn't work you could always contact our support :)

Nevermind, downloaded it onto another computer and it's working great. Thanks anyway.

Glad to hear that :) I swear, that game has the weirdest problems on the weirdest setups :P
fix the game for xp users please...
I too have this problem. System core 2 quad 2.66mhz, 32 bit win 7, geforce ftx 750ti. I can get the launcher to run from its directory but the game itself crashes in under a second from launch. Have tried all the above suggestions.
Try deleting the winmm.dll file in the Revenant folder. It's a Windows Multimedia library, and you probably have a file of the same name in your Windows\system32 folder, which will be used instead. This worked for me when I was getting a "Revenant has encountered a problem and needs to close" crash whenever I started Revenant in XP.
Thank you so much. That worked like a charm. Just to be on the safe side I 7ziped the dll before deleting it but I needn't have bothered. As soon as I deleted that dll, the game worked flawlessly. So thanks again.

Just out of curiosity - after deleting winmm, did you still have the music in game? (Not sound effects, music)
Music is present in the pre-game movie but so far not in game as far as I am aware (but note I am still figuring out the controls and haven't left the start area).

One other thing I have found is that if you have the CD/DVD of another game in your CD/DVD drive Revanent will crash upon pressing the New Game button.
