Huge fan of Gemini Rue, the mood and tone of that game floored me and put you on my map.

I'm halfway through Resonance and I am quite enjoying myself. I'll come back once I've finished it to weigh in properly, but so far, so good :)
I just finished the game and like Gemini Rue it is a real masterpiece of setting atmosphere and telling a story. Just when I thought the game was over I realized I had several hours more to have fun with.

Keep going like that WadjetEye and I'll buy every single game you'll produce, knowing there is much love and effort in it.
It's an interesting game but honestly i prefer the thriller style and atmosphere of Gemini Rue

I will. I just want to take some time to collect some thoughts about the game.

Be sure to play the Blackwell games next!
So I decided to give a short spoiler free review of Resonance on my Homepage. It's the first Review I've ever written in english, so I hope it won't be that hard to understand.

OK, just finished the game and I've got to say, it's solid.

Not a moody masterpiece like Gemini Rue, but then again, how often can you make a game of that caliber?

Loved the implementation of Long Term/Short Term Memories into puzzle solving, it felt fresh and had me wondering why it wasn't used before.

I was also genuinely thrown for a loop around 3/4 of the story, even though I usually sniff out twists well ahead of their time. The bit were Bennett teams up with Ray (see how spoiler free that was? :D) was easily my favorite part of the game.

Phenomenal work on turning the AGS engine on it's head.

As I said earlier, it's a solid game, a 7.5/10. A 7 if one wants to nit pick and an 8 for the over-enthusiast.

A great purchase at it's price point and quite entertaining in it's own right :)

Thats the mechanics that helped me to really immerse into the game. It just felt right to tinker my own dialogue options and not to click anything on the screen hoping it will unlock new dialogue options.
Also, the song that plays during the end credits? "I Will Be There"? Beautiful, haunting stuff.

I absolutely love it so far myself. Just got to the part when you have 4 characters in your team. Amongst many other things, I love how none of the puzzles have been ridiculously obscure and ridiculous yet. So many games of this type have one incredibly odd method that doesn't really make any sense; you just have to either keep trying till you eventually get the right combination by sheer luck, or be suffering from the same mental illness as the puzzle designer.

I haven't had those periods of just wandering around cluelessly that characterised certain parts of games like Broken Sword and Gabriel Knight for me. It manages to be truly story-driven and atmospheric, but still contains lots of puzzles - unlike, say, The Longest Journey, which succeeds at the first two, but only seems to have about 3 actual puzzles in it, then about 10 very light "use x on y" moments.
I thought the game would probably be good. I didn't expect this.
I finished the game yesterday. It is now one of my favorite video games ever. I love everything about it. The story, the setting, the atmosphere. The music and graphics were perfect. The ensemble cast of characters is amazing.

This is the first game in a long time that I simply could not stop playing. I never got bored. Every scene and every line was so interesting that I could not leave my chair (until I got too tired to keep playing.)

Thank you XII, Wadjet Eye, and everyone involved in making the game and getting it onto my computer!
