Unlike most of the threads I've seen, RF: Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered seems to be crashing during gameplay for me instead of on the title screen. The game is playable, but it does have a few issues:

1. Mouse movement isn't registered at random which has cost me more than a few missions due to inability to aim. Seems to come back if an attack* is used. This fix is tempoarary and doesn't always work, but may finally work after repeated attempts if it doesn't work initially.

* By attack I mean the left or right mouse button is pressed.

2. Weird video issue when mining ore. Occasionally, a bunch of black boxes appear near the top left corner of the screen when mining an ore deposit. This is harmless as the boxes go away after a split second, but it still makes me think the game might crash. As it tends to happen more often when the game is closer to crashing.

3. The game crashes for seemingly no reason during gameplay. All times that the crash has happened, there were large numbers of NPCs on the map. (Normally during missions, specificly the ride along to blow up the EDF outpost in the badlands, the EOS sniper elimination mission, and the liberation mission for Oasis sector.) When this happens the game pops up a window saying the game has crashed in the background, and cannot be interacted with. As such the only thing I can do is kill the game via the Task Manager.

Just posting to give some context in hopes it might be useful. Hopefully the devs can get a patch out soon.

Happened to me twice in 3 hours.

Both times I got a different error message: "Pure virtual function call" and "The game has crashed, would you like to send a diagnostic file?"

The first one couldn't be interacted with, but for the second one, pressing Enter got rid of the message (I still needed to kill the game with Task Manager afterwards, though).

The funny part is: the game was rock solid at launch. I could play for multiple hours every day for a whole week without any crashes. One month later, I noticed there's been a couple of updates since then. I launched the game, 1.5 hours later it crashed. I restarted the game, and it crashed another 1.5 hours later.

Aren't updates supposed to make a game better, not worse?
