Hey,

My friend was having some trouble with this game so I whipped up a quick trainer for him. It looks like crap since it was just a quick thing for him, but he told me to let you guys know of its existence.

I'm not entirely sure if I can get in trouble on these forums for this, but the picture attached has the trainer in it. Just save the picture and open it with WinRAR or whatever it is you use for RAR files.

Mods, let me know if that's a no-no here (I never use the forums, I just play the games :P ), please! It just seems the easiest way at the moment and the size is small enough.

Numpad 1 - Infinite Money
Numpad 2 - Infinite Health

Enjoy. and again, don't hurt me much, mods :(
I won't do it again if you tell me not to!

Also, I work for a cheat site, so I'm required to include the logo on everything I do. Sorry if that's a bother for anyone :(

EDIT: My friend is telling me that it sets off his antivirus (AVG).

I swear I didn't put anything in it and my computer is clean, so if you don't feel like you can trust me, then don't download it.

Sorry :(

I just used CheatEngine to make most of it, but I don't know if trainers made with that are known for setting off antiviruses.

I'll try uploading it elsewhere with the actual .rar instead of through a picture (I gave him the picture just so he can test how it would work with the method I put it up on here) and seeing if it might change anything.

Again, sorry. You don't have to trust it. K?

Turns out it's because of CheatEngine and how certain virus scanners work.
Some see it as malware while others don't.

Trust the trainer if you want, you're not being forced :P

which one is the file man ?
i can only see picture :-|
The file is the picture. All you have to do is save the picture and open it as if it were a .zip file.

Winzip, 7-zip, etc
confirmed works and is clean.
I'm probably never going to use this, but I think it's awesome.

My only request in this tool, is an option to just set health back to 100, once, rather than making it infinite.

My coordination isn't all that great, and I usually don't even try shooters, but I really enjoy Raptor; essentially, without a cheat, I can't play beyond Bravo level!!

However, infinite health sort of takes the interest out of the program, since it doesn't matter *what* I do... A "set health to 100" would give me a saving throw when I screw up, but still make the game interesting...
Thanks for this, the infinite money code works, but infinite health doesn't. Doesn't matter to me, just buy the twin laser and max out your shields.
Do any of the old DOS cheats work in this version?

I remember using the item-abort-level trick (Play until you get a powerup, then abort, sell it, restart) when I was a kid to get enough money for the Auto-turret early, that made the early levels a crapload easier!

I assume it's not worth bumping but I can't seem to get the trainer working. I have it running but pressing the Numpad keys does nothing. Any ideas, if you happen to see this message after so many years? :P

I never see notifications for anything in the forums on the main site, but I just happened to be downloading some stuff with the GOG Downloader and that apparently notifies me.

Since I don't have any of the files used for making the trainer in the first place, I'll just put a new one together soon and we'll go from there, if you still have any interest.

I actually beat the game several weeks ago but if you still have time it might be appreciated by future players.

Yeah, I was thinking it would be worth doing it anyway. Maybe if there isn't someone who regularly does trainers for GOG games, I'll start doing it on the regular. I need a new hook to my life anyway.

Awesome job beating it though, sorry I didn't see these new replies sooner!

It's all good. I actually found another trainer/cheating program for Raptor, but ultimately the only cheating I needed to do was the "trick" where you can get weapons in a level but quickly exit and sell the weapons (because they stay in your inventory even when you exit a level).

Hitting backspace works in the DOS version. Takes all your money and gives you several Death Ray. The save files from the DOS version are compatible with the Mountain King Windows version, which doesn't have the backspace cheat, unless they put it back in the 2010 edition.
