Anyone using a joystick with the game? I have a usb logitech one that resembles the playstation pads, and I can't help but feeling that joystick support is half-done or something... you cannot use the pad on the menus, you cannot use the pad to pause or skip cutscenes... though on the bright side both analogue and digital input works fine for the ship movement...
I also tried on the options screen to redefine the directions (hopping to get the pad to work on the menu) but sadly none of the buttons work for the up/down/left/right , the game just waits for input... are these hard-coded or something?
Anyone else tried with a pad?
Yea, I play all these types of games on a joypad as opposed to the keyboard or mouse, and I noticed that you couldn't access the menu with the joypad. Overall, it's just a minor inconvenience, I'm just glad that I'm able to run this game at all. As long as the basic joystick functions work (move: fire: special attack) I'm happy.

Anyone tried the XBox 360 controller yet?
yep, it is the same ... the 360 controller works fine in the game but not in the menus...
If you remap the keyboard controls, it doesn't alter the menu interface either. Slightly annoying, but not crippling.
