I'm very happy to see both versions of QfG 1 included, and hope it's a harbinger of similar developments for previous (and future) Sierra releases. Might we see the remakes of King's Quest I and Space Quest I, as well as the original version of Police Quest I, added to those bundles?
i am too.

but this isnt really a GOG thing, as this is basically the collection that was already released with the same box art. that one had both versions of part one.

though, that collection only had 1-4 and not part V
Hopefully, if this is a true round of Activision releases, those might be next. Along with Leisure Suit Larry, but that's another can of worms.
So am I, this is great news for Sierra fans. Quest For Glory being sold again with Dragon Fire configured to run on recent hardware and OS, Shadow Of Darkness fixed with NewRisingSun's patch, So You Want To Be A Hero offered in both versions, this is damn awesome news.

I don't know if GOG plans to surprise us once more next Tuesday, but if they were to offer the missing remakes and original version of Police Quest I, I think the joy would be enough for me to go on a shopping spree.

That version did have a demo of V though, and it had a multiplayer button that didn't do anyhting and was removed from the final version.

The demo actually did have working, albeit limited, multiplayer IIRC.
Cool, this video shows that you could play as Elsa and Magnus and that there was a jump button at one point.
