Everytime I try to join a game it asks for a CD Key, I don't see any key or the option to get/generate one. Help!? It won't let me on anything.

Edit:
This is a Quake III question, didn't realize they just put all the Quake games together.

You will have to wait a little bit longer,GOG said they will deliver cd keys soon.you can find this on game's page

They've been around at least shortly after release, if not on release (I bought it at the end of the release promo and the keys were present for me immediately).

Go to your Account page and to the Quake 3 game entry. Then click on More and then Serial Keys. It will then display your Q3 and Team Arena keys.

Just had a look myself, seems like mine never appeared. Time to contact support, I guess.
It is a recollection from the time quake3 was new, but I think the last version of Q3 asks for the key, but it does not actually check it. Just try to continue.

No go without key

Well, support was no help (wrote the same thing korell posted, but there is no "serial keys" selection under the More menu). I guess from now on I'll be more careful not to buy games requiring serial keys from GOG - this isn't the first time they seem to have trouble delivering them.

Side note; isn't it a bit silly, still asking for serial keys for a fifteen year old game? Even ioquake3 doesn't remove the key check. Oh well.

The CD Key is the only realiable way to ban someone. That's the reason it isn't removed.

Then give them a screenshot showing that the serial keys option isn't present for you.
Turns out the solution was simply refreshing my account. Don't know why I didn't think of that before, but there you go.
its worth mentioning that the cd-key check for the servers went disabled like ages ago, so its not like theres much need for it anyway

heck, from what Ive read in the quake 3 steam discussions, you can basically type in anything into the cd key box and it will let you through *knocks on wood*
