$27 :O GOG does offer a rebate of $10 but it's less then $7 from the USA. Why the hell are we paying such a huge markup?

To clarify, it's $12 for the US, not $7. I was going to add a snarky comment about the typical price for new games until I saw you were an Aussie. My condolences on your price woes.

I used a US proxy and it said 6:74 or something like that.
Then that proxy is wrong. It's $12 USD now, as it was last week when I bought it. I attached a screenshot if you don't believe me.

The game has been 12 $ / 11 € the whole time since it was released.
I was expecting a $30 price tag, when I saw that it was $27, it was better than I had expected so I was happy. Considering what you get for $27, it's well worth it. Not to mention, the $10.61 wallet credit is nice.

Perhaps you should re-read my first post.

Well that seems more fair but why was it 7 before? Was that a bug?

The proxy I used said $7. Now it's saying 12.

I read your post, and as I said "I was expecting a $30 price tag."

Living in Aus, we always get screwed with prices. It's always been $12 USD though. The part I don't get is why we aren't paying closer to the exchange rate which would be like $18 AUD, or close to. But again, for a game as enjoyable as this, and when I was anticipating higher, I don't really care. People have paid more for steaming piles of shit.

Edit: Sorry for seeming arrogant, not my intention, I completely agree that it's bullshit that we must pay more.

Excuse my ignorance, but why do you Aussies have to pay more for your games? Is there some law or tax in place?

Originally it was because of the whole NTSC and PAL thing, I believe. But nowadays I'm not sure why they are so expensive, other than the fact that they can get away with it.

GOG is meant to have a no Reagan policy thing. Looks like I was mistaken though. Well sort of. It was $7 in Latin America, but 12 in normal USD. Along with the $10 rebate it adds up about the same so GOG is still doing good.
