I have a patch that will improve ball handling, and allow as high a resolution and colors as your computer can handle, for Timeshock..
I only have one for Timeshock as that's the only one I've bought through GoG so far.. but as I buy others I'll make patches for them too..
You'll have to run preferences again after you apply this patch..
Back up your dosboxTimeshock.conf First!! as It overwrites the original one..
Replace your dosbox folder with the one in the archive (don't worry the original dosbox is in the 'old' folder, where I'd suggest you put your original dosboxTimeshock.conf ...then copy all the files into your pro Pinball - Timeshock directory..overwrite the original conf.
You'll have to run configyuration again, and it's possible you'll have to turn up that cd music (i had to)

I am not responsible if your computer BLOWS UP!!
or does other nasty stuff.. although it shouldn't.. i just have a modified version of dosbox that handles high resolutions, and a modified dosboxTimeshock.conf and game.cfg.. the cue file doesn't replace the original cd image, so there's no problem there.

Let me know if it works for y'all....

Thanks for this. Unfortunately, ball movement still feels jaggy on my machine (i5 Quad 2.8, 8GB RAM, Radeon HD5750) after applying your patch and reducing some ingame effects even.
i can't get it running when i try launch Timeshock, the dosbox notify i'm missing several dll's file (forgot the name and i have restore it with my previous dosbox).

edit: dosbox.exe - Unable to Locate Component.

This application has failed to start because MSVCP71.dll was not found.

okay now, it works. But why i cant enable 16 millions colour if i turn on screen flipping?

well, the screen flipping requires more memory than even the modified dosbox can supply..i didn't compile this version so I can't help there , I'm afraid..
MSVCP71.dll isn't part of the dosbox files, so i'm assuming you got that message because your SDL support files were't properly installed ( a standard part of the windows install, i think)..
The jerkiness that the previous poster experienced *could* be if his PC has onboard graphics that aren't disabled, after adding an external video card.. i'm not able to say how to select the external one only though.. best do some research and experiment.

I couldn't reply to this earlier.. had a problem loging in to any site for months and not sure why.. bad conmnection where I moved to.
Also after losing both backup harddrives, I no longerr have the fle and 4 shared wiped my account.. the file you speak ioif was DMCA'd by somebody but I don't know who.
*if* I can remember what I did, I'll try to redo it. Right now I'm using my mac full time and I only have the OSX mods of all the pro pinball. It may bve that the same full color mod exists there..
