Well, for us EU people it has been like nearly impossible to get hold of an uncensored (US) version of this game, so I'm wondering what version is GOG offering?

To identify the uncensored version: Go make some slowmo fatalities and see if limbs get severed.
No, I'm not a sick individual, but the animations in the censored version looks silly when nothing gets severed in slow mo.

I own the original US retail. I believe its only the exe file that censors the game. I can dig out the box and get the exe file if the folks at GOG want it. No idea if ubisoft would have a problem with this. The old DRM would have to be stripped off the exe though.

Same here. I already have this title but haven't finished it yet and won't finish it until I got the uncensored version.

If GOG would offer this or make it possible to make this version uncensored I would buy it in an instant.

Really?. Then, where are the other European languages?. Why publish the game only in English?. There's something ironic about ubisoft complaining about piracy while at the same time relying on the efforts of crack groups to sell their older games.

Ubisoft is known for lying and being out grabbing money. They are an amateur version of EA.

Sorry if this is a necro, but I came to this game STRAIGHT off of Warrior Within, and was disappointed to see the same attack animations hampered by the t(l?)ame death animations. If GOG would get the Uncensored version, it would warrant another purchase for me (my copy is on Steam).

Indeed, it seems to me that we're not looking at the ultimate versions of Prince of Persia, which is something many of us rely on GoG for. Did anyone try to switch Executables and see what happens?

I know this is an old thread, but as a US gamer, this makes the game feel like a less-than-complete experience. Can GOG address this by releasing a patch?
