The_Red_Borsch: I don't want to disappoint you but I want to tell you the truth: almost all RWS developers have left and now most of all RWS team are the people from Resurrection Studios (they have made Eternal Damnation). Complete version, Paradise Lost and Redux are their games, just with words "Made by RWS". But Vince and Mike are still in that company. They advise guys from Resurrection Studios and publish their games.

And about PL... It's hard to recommend it because it looks like yet another fan-made add-on (obviously, this IS the yet another fan-made add-on, but with Vince's and Mike's leadership). Open world is good (much better than AW add-on), but some things dissapoint. And optimization is the worst of all POSTAL games. But after beta-testing on Steam users, I guess, it looks now much better and people can play in it almost without bugs.

Anyway, after Redux I really hope that they'll make remake of POSTAL 2 or finally next game on UE4, for example.
Just did a Steam search and GOG search for "Eternal Damnation" and turned up zero hits on both, so the game doesn't even exist. :)

Well, I'm glad they managed to create Postal and Postal 2, and the free expansion that we did get last year after a long delay at least, but it is sad to hear that they're flipping burgers at McDonalds nowadays, but somebody has to do it I guess.

Because it is a mod that was released for free. You can find it here:

Ah, don't think I've heard of it before. If it's free it's a shame they don't just include it with the base game(s), or make it available on the Steam workshop for Steam gamers though. But maybe not too much of a shame as it'd just delay the release of the missing Postal titles on GOG from "never" to "never plus longer". :)

We will be releasing it as a separate Workshop mod. The reason why it's taking a bit longer is because we are not just going to port the old version to Workshop, we are updating it :)

That's great for Steam players of course, but perhaps if the manpower that went into doing that as a bonus for Steam users instead went into meeting existing commitments/promises given to customers/fans on GOG.com, we would have Paradise Lost here already.

The lack of execution to meet commitments given to customers has made me lose faith. Words are cheap, actions speak tomes. I'm not an unforgiving customer/fan either, but it seems that promises that were made a long time ago have been put on the lowest priority shelf and forgotten about.

I'm not angry or bitter about it, but I no longer have faith in promises or claims made by RWS or anyone they subcontract to etc. as the track record has not been too stellar. It's a bummer as I'd really prefer to cheer you guys on, but I'm feeling pretty let down. I'm not sure any words could be spoken that would make me feel any differently either, and to be honest at this point, if Paradise Lost did show up here on GOG now, or Postal Redux, I wouldn't even buy them because I don't believe that they would get supported here at all. Any patches they might get on Steam would take a year or 5 to show up here. That's just not customer support, it's taking advantage financially of the die hard customers and fans that support the company.

At the same time, I do feel bad that the company has gotten to this state for whatever unknown reasons that it has happened. It's like a good friend turning into a drug addict and having a heart attack or something. You want to see them pull out of that, but you want to yell at them to smarten up too.

Anyhow... I'll still have a fond experience playing Postal and Postal 2 classics as-is even though we've been abandoned more or less support-wise here.

...

You actually come here to the GOG forum to give your usual song-and-dance spiel about how things are taking "a bit longer", but for a goddamn Steam exclusive mod to the game you've been promising us the expansion for for more than a year?

Sincerely, fuck off.

fronzelneekburm: Welp, has anyone heard anything from the devs re the GOG release of Paradise Lost since April?

marcinshaq: We are extremely busy working on Postal: Redux. Paradise Lost should will definitely come to GoG, hopefully before Christmas.
Christmas 2016?
So I take it RWS has decided to leave GOG's version dead in the water?

They seem pretty hit-and-miss with details and with missing updates for Postal, Postal 2's expansion/patch and Postal Redux, it doesn't look hopeful?
*anxiously takes a look at his watch*

Any minute now!
I'm tempting to get Postal 2 from Steam at the moment plus with this DLC

RWS is taking their time to add it to GOG's version.

RSW took too long to get their games to GOG. As a customer from Germany I now have no legal chance to buy their games. It looks like "Paradise Lost" has been removed from the German Steam store this month. :(
Oh well....i gave in and got it from Steam, Only $1.94 for both the game & Expansion.
I also broke down and got all the non-GOG Postal stuff from Steam. RWS will do the GOG Connect thing for early adopters once the games finally get here, right?
still no gog version? what the hell takes so long?

Don't expect anything to happen. They don't care about us anymore.
