Now, wtf is going on here?

General protection fault!

Yeah, I get something like that once in a while. My best guess is that it happens when something/someone gets pushed around by the physics in just the wrong way.

As long as it's not happening constantly the best thing to do is just save often and grin and bear it. Just about any game is going to crash or behave badly every now and again.
Makes sense, but still, as this is protection fault, most likely something got f-ed up when they were removing DRM
Nah, I remember the game doing this back when it was relatively new. Postal 2 just isn't the most stable game in the world.
I notice it happening most often when you huck cars at people or dismember far too many of them in too small a space.
it's a huge pile of sh!t! after 5 minutes of play, it crashes! i wish i haven't bought it!

So i guess I should just live with it...

i don't care about it. it was really cheap, even by hungarian standards. i have a lot more GOG games to play with.

it was this bad a few years back, when i first played it. i just didn't remember.

There should be some options in the video part of the Options or Settings menu that allow you to turn down the number of corpses and other stuff available on-screen at one time. (The game may get "overloaded" with visuals - that may be the cause of the crash.) Setting the visuals to "low" in general should keep the game from crashing, I think. Also the A Week in Paradise mod may help, but I'm not positive. http://www.moddb.com/mods/awp-a-week-in-paradise

Sorry I'm not very specific; I don't really want to start the game up right now, because it takes a while.
