I'm confused on the spell casting side. I'm a level 4 and still my spellbook is empty. I've gathered a couple scrolls and the game appears to not allow me to place them in the quick items. Which i assume they need to be in in order to be Castable.

First of all, did you change your character class to a Mage? He starts as a Fighter and you have to find a trainer that will let you switch it. If you're already a Mage, you need to scribe spells to your spell book. Right click on a scroll in your inventory and choose to scribe the spell. Then you have to open your spell book and select which spells to memorize. You have limited slots per spell level (these increase as you level up your character). The last thing you need to do is rest. After that you'll have spells available to cast in the radial menu.

Thank you I didn't! I'll figure out who in the hive can teach me that. I love playing my silly tile based rpg games, and running into problems and reading walkthroughs and communicating on forums! Thanks!
