Actually it now just crashed under ground area in the crust, always when fighting. I even turned off transitions.

Game crashes alot on level 3 in Modron Maze.
Windows 10 Pro fully upto date.
Run game through gog galaxy launcher, ver 1.2.23
Game never crashes anywhere else.

Fo rexmaple: I am in the middle of a savage battle and the Windows circle appears going round and round and game freezes.

I played through over half of the game without a crash, now quite often, so far only under ground and only when fighting.

Every few rooms.

You bought a Beamdog product. This is what you get.

LOL. It's true though. Their other antics not withstanding, they seem to take a very long time to actually patch anything.

To be fair, there are not very many bugs - but the ones that exist are often much more annoying. Which means that in some cases, the original + a few basic mods is more stable than the EE. So well done Beamdog.

It is less buggy than the BG games for sure. Still...GoG used to sell a bug-free version not long ago. Beamdog had it removed to make sure their version is the only one available.

I thought they simply bundled it with the EE because that somehow gives us "more choice"? At least according to Beamdog's propaganda - which has to win some kind of award for most nauseating company statement ever. And it took them long enough to even admit that it was their idea and decision to do this. This is possibly the worst way I've seen a gaming company act in a long time - even the bizarre crap from Double Bear around the release of Dead State wasn't as bad as this.

Yeah. More choice by removing any hint of a choice.
