I'm on my 2nd playthrough, and I'm wondering if it's wise to sign those contracts. What I mean by this is that dark phenomena happens when you do that (or you try to take away the contracts), Angyar's mind becomes twisted by it, and if I remember right, Fell tells that you should not sign these contracts (strangely, I can't find that dialogue this time).

So my question is; Does signing these contracts have any great impact on the TNO's story later on or is it only your morality that it affects?

No, it's only your morality (and an extra dialog line in the conversation with Awaiting-Death). I always wondered why all that creepiness was even there in the first place. There's nothing evil to it in the Planescape RPG books, too. Perhaps if TNO signs one, he'll run a greater theoretical risk of discovery by the Dusties (who can, theoretically, permanently kill him)?
I see. So I was wrong about the Fell dialogue, too?

No, you're right, I just didn't mention it because you already did (and I don't think it's affected by signing).

Sorry to necro old post, but this is important :)

HUGE SPOILER BELOW!

I heard somwhere that if you sign the dead contract you will get a message in the end that: "you almost completed your quest but was forced back as a zombie for the dustmen" Is this true? I also heard that it is possible to get away from the contract but no explanation how. Any help would be appriciated! Thanks!

Well, I signed the contracts on my first playthrough and there wasn't such message in the end. Also I don't know of any way to get away from the contract, but since you're immortal, they might be unable to enforce it.
Oh, and I just thought of one that bugged me: Signing the Dead Contracts. It especially seems that it should have a consequence since Fell warns you not to sign anything, but other than some dialogue and alignment hits, there doesn't seem to be any. That's definitely also another for the list to ask [Chris Avellone] about.
Ya, the whole thing with Coppereyes and fake Dustman contracts.
