I just bought the game to be able to play it on my main machine (incredible job guys, major props) and I'm wondering if its possible to use some of the mods for the game on the Linux version?

I found another thread talking about the problem, but it didn't seem help with my particular issue.

I want to know how to install the mods. There doesn't seem to be a way to drop the files into my Planescape directory since they are Windows .exe files.

I can live without the mods, since there will be a Planescape Enhanced Edition coming eventually. I'm just happy to be able to play my favourite game on my favourite operating system.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You can always download the Windows version of the game and install it in your own Wine environment. You can run the mods there as well. Though you have to get familiar with using Wine or with one of the Wine based frontends out there (e.g. PlayOnLinux).

I will likely have to resort to that. I was hoping to keep the wine wrapper GOG uses, since they seem to have set it up incredibly well.

Wine might be better now, but the last time I tried Planescape it wasn't nearly as good.

EDIT: Wasn't good ;-)
