Hi,
I know there are plenty of threads about this, but is there any simple way to fix the cursor artefacts on win 8.1? I don't really need the high resolution mods or anything, I just want to be able to play the unmodded game and see what im trying to click. I tried all 3 options in setup_ddraw.exe and none of them worked for me.

I would really want to play this game, but even with following instructions in some of the threads here I'm hitting a brick wall.

I have a question for you actually. I have the same problem, but on another they recommend changing two lines of code in a .tp2 file, but I have no clue how to edit and save the file (with a certian software?) because of it's file type. Iv'e tried searching for a software that can open and save it, but to no avail. If you can figure it out, i'd be grateful if you could tell me what software is needed to edit tp2 files because i've tried everything. By the way, i'm using a resolution mod and a ddraw fix mod as well because of slowdowns. I'm also using windows 8.
You can edit a .tp2 file with Notepad, or any other txt editor.
If Win8 is not letting you save the changes, then run notepad as administrator.
