Hello,
I recently installed PoE and after clicking "New Game" , loading screen shows and it stops responding.

I tried waiting (around 20 minutes) but it didnt do anything. I have latest gpu/sound drivers. Does anyone know how can I fix it?

No responses in 2 years?
Searched all over the web and couldnt find a solution.

I am having the same problem and I dont want to have to refund the game...

Start new game and upon loading screen the game doesnt load and I click the mouse and a "this program is not responding" windo pops up asking to close program, wait for program to respond, or windows to find a solution and close program which I tried and it only froze the loading screen and I had to push alt-tab and ctrl-alt-del-end task did not even shut it down had to completely restart.

Somebody please help?

Not exactly an universal solution but SSD drives and even hybrids reduces a lot this loading time.
