One can read:
GOG and Stadia should be updated by early next week

Which was not mentioned before :) Think our complaints was heard somewhere at least :)

Fingers crossed.
A week has just passed...
Let's have some patience but i don't have high hopes :(
And, of course, another opportunity to update the Galaxy version but not the offline installer.

Perhaps I'm cynical.
It is being updated.
Only 2 weeks delay this time.

No, it is not. Installer still has version 1.10, while update should have 1.10.1. Galaxy is irrelevant, because sane people do not use it.

Years ago, like you, I was reluctant to use Galaxy.
Then I gave it a try just to see.
Did not stop using it since then :)

I invite you to try it, even 1 week or 2, you can always desinstall it if you really do not like it.

I think it defeats the purpose of GOG. If you install Galaxy you might as well use Steam or Epic store and forget about DRM-free content.

I am a backer of Phoenix Point, and I own this game on the EPIC store as well. My sole reason to have it on GOG is the offline installer. Just like for the other games I purchase here. So, stop your Galaxy evangelism, please.
Offline installer had been updated to version 1.10.1 as well.

Schwertz: Offline installer had been updated to version 1.10.1 as well.
And it took only 18 days. Break-neck speed, so to speak.

Next day after Galaxy update, accordingly to gogdb at least. So, it would be 15-16 depending on the timezone.
