So I played through the CIA campaign and started a KGB campaign in the extended mode. I'm not too far in yet and I'm not sure what the extended mode does. I guess it adds some cut scenes? Because I don't know the KGB camapaign I don't know what is part of its normal campaign and what is part of the extension. Is it clear what's what while I go on?

I also had a silent hope for the extended mode: When you solve a riddle on the pinboard, for example "The Crater" as stand in for Moscow, in the subsequent files Moscow would already be shown as the solution in the respective files (colored green instead of red). It would help to get deeper in the lore I guess? I'd like to know somebody's thoughts on that or why that would be a bad idea (because it's randomizes or something).

Assuming the codenames are not random (if they were, I would expect much less repetition), then it does make sense to indicate somewhere which codenames have been discovered/matched to people/places/orgs.

Not sure I'd like the codenames necessarily replaced with the actual names, since there are other real names in there and that would possibly be more confusing; however it would be great if there were some info screen somewhere showing all codenames we've discovered matches for (and what they are). Either that or better still, codenames that have been discovered can have the real name appear either as a tooltip (when hovered over), or maybe in brackets (e.g. TAR PIT (Moscow)). Alternatively (or additionally), codewords could have different colours depending on whether we've discovered them or not.

Also, I know a couple of others have mentioned this already, and it ties in with this: it would be cool to have "solved" files still "on file", so we could see all the stuff we've collected/solved over the game.
