Has anybody successfully ran this game in Linux, more specifically Arch Linux? I was able to get it up and running with Wine but framerate was very poor compared to just running it on Windows (I can max everything out at 1440p and rarely dip below 60 frames on Windows).

I realize that this game can be run in Steam Proton, and ProtonDB has some good reports on this game, but is it possible to run a GoG game through Proton?

Please feel free to post your own experiences and tips if you've gotten this game to run smoothly on Linux.

Likely something I've just missed but how did you install from the offline installer? It just keeps failing no matter the version of Wine that I use.

I literally just ran the wine command in my terminal and pointed it at the first installation file.

I think you should get the same performance as with steam's proton for this game just by installing dxvk and using the latest version of wine/wine-staging. Have you tried that?

pro:
I use gamehub to install this game w/o any installation related problem. Game is speed seems ok.

con:
If I switch to another virt-desktop or app, the game will freeze. I have to kill it manually.
The deal breaker is I CANNOT see any VPC. I can talk to them, but cannot see them. I have attached a screenshot, you can see a gun just hang in the air.

Will you guys refund in my situation?
