Hey guys,

quick question. How in the hell can you beat the Augmented creatures in this dungeon reliably?

It's especially the big room in the center, with 6 Augmented demons that gives me trouble. Haven't been able to beat even one of these guys yet, the HP regen is simply too much, in addition to the ridiculously high ACs.

What's the secret here?
Im not there yet, but enemies with hp reg are weak vs cold iron weapon. Do you tried this alrdy?:)

At this point I have a Lvl 12 party and I'm stacked with +2 or +3 weapons. Could check my inventory or buy some stuff from the quartermaster. Can't hurt to try.
I have my spellcasters auto-cantrip-cast jolt to interrupt the regeneration. At that level of yours lightning chain is a reliable friend to take out the borgs.
All enemies in Blackwater have a form of regeneration that is broken by either Adamantine weapons or Electricity damage.
Problem is that after the humanoid enemies you start to come across demons that besides that regeneration they are also flat out IMMUNE to electricy so your only way to dispatch them is Adamantine weapons or coup de grace.

At that point of the game you have access to 3 adamantine weapons.
Your 3 adamantine weapons possibilities are :
-The axe in the offhand of Graybor
-The glaive you got from the corpse of Staunton Vanhe
-A glaive you can get off a crusader map battle called Soulshear that you then have to pass a decree on in order to make it a real item.

Give those to whoever can wield them in your party and use them to finish the demons once they are prone, its faster than coup de grace them.

For my party i couldnt even use the glaives since i wanted my A-Team for the dungeon and none could even equip them i just gave the axe to my tank and kept doing a full focus, whatever the tank attacked my whole party dumped on and just went removing enemies 1 by 1 that way, if you have a glaive user that can equip Staunton's even if only for the last hit once the demons are in the ground it will go much faster.

AGAIN
The cold iron weapon advice wont work and the electricity only stop the regeneration of the augmented "people" demons will only die to Adamantine weapons or coup de grace.

Best of luck

Thank you. :) I'll see what I can do.

You're right, the Augmented humans are kinda tough but still manageable without jumping through extra hoops, but that demon group? Talk about a difficulty spike.

I should have all of the Adamantine weapons. I did reforge Soulshear recently, so I can try this at least.

Finally did it! Long fight, but with some additional summons (Greater Air Elemental!) I was finally able to crack this encounter and the ones after that. Having Greybor along helped a lot.

I'm still not finished with the dungeon, but it's so good to have a breakthrough. :D

Thanks for the input, guys. :)

Air elemental. That is such a good idea to deal with those borgs! I wish I had the idea when I tackled the dungeon.
I found the Coup De Grace ability worked wonders for me there...

Oh, absolutely. Wouldn't want these guys to get up again in the middle of the battle.
As an arcane spellcaster 'Disintegrate' can also kill regenerating creature regardless, if the hp reach 0, 'Destruction' from divine one also do the trick

Not sure if a bug but 'Phantasmal Killer' worked fine the last time i got there, and the ascendant feat for electricity is also an option
