It gets as far as the Paizo logo, then the game just closes. No error message or anything.

Hey!

Could you, please, try and go to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\<Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous> and delete everything apart from portraits, saves, and screenshots. Please let me know if it helps you.

Okay, thank you. Do you have any CPU overclocking software running, like Asrock EZ OC? If yes, try disabling it.

No overclocking or modifications of any kind.
Same here, the game crashes just after the "Paizo" logo.

So it seems that except for the video card (I have an AMD one and you have an nVidia one), the error is the same:

Cannot Prepare a disabled VideoPlayer
(Filename: Line: 315)
Thank you for the logs, everyone. Please give us a moment to examine them.

Please try to skip the splash screen immediately, it might be causing problems.

I tried. It gets past the Paizo logo to show the main WOTR logo for maybe a tenth of a second, then crashes.

Already tried that, as I though a video might be causing the issue.
The only difference is that before the crash, the screen that I see is the "Pathfinder War of the Righteous" logo.
In the Player.log file, I still have the exact same error at the exact same line (except for the UnloadTime):

UnloadTime: 0.543300 ms
[MonoSingleton] There is no object of type Kingmaker.Settings.Graphics.ApplicationFocusObserver. Creating new.
[MonoSingleton] There is no object of type Kingmaker.Utility.CoroutineRunner. Creating new.

If you want, I can provide a DxDiag report.

I could also recommend verifying game files, just to be sure.

I already tried verifying game files, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the game, rebooting my pc, etc etc. None of the mundane stuff works. And neither does the game.
