@Mortheim It has been over a month since version 2.1.7b was released but the linux version is still on 2.1.5d. I contacted GOG support and their final answer was "Once the latest build is published, it will become available on the website." Could you please check that the latest version has been pushed to GOG?

Seriously, it's a waste of time and money to buy games on GoG ...

Even Steam has the latest version for Linux and it's DRM-free too.

Perhaps they already dropped Linux support before the new game was out? Really poor showing. I wanted to buy that game, but no use when they don't support the operating system.

Has anyone contacted gog support about this? I am not playing the game right now any more, so I can't really justify the effort, but posting here on the forum does absolutely nothing useful: neither Owlcat nor gog staff read it.

In the last days I contacted GOG because I want to buy the Linux version of the game. I was asking for the latest Unix version and GOG answered me the following:

"The current Linux version of the game is 2.1.5d. As for the update, I have asked the team responsible for the updates to the game to get in touch with the developer so that they can provide us with the latest version of the game as soon as possible."

I'd like to thank GOG, hoping to see the newest version soon.

I too had opened a ticket about this on 2022-03-22 describing the problem (and mentioning this and the other thread) and got a reply from GOG on 2022-04-29 saying

"Unfortunately, this is a known issue to us and the developers are currently working on a solution.
Sadly no ETA at the moment. I hope that you are still able to enjoy your game regardless."

I am glad they will now get in touch with the developer. I hope "as soon as possible" is soon.

Unfortunately I think "soon" means "never" :(

All this time I hesitated to reopen my ticket in order not to be annoying and flood the support channel with unnecessary tickets, but i thought that from end of March till now end of September is long enough to warrant a heads-up.

So, i reopened my ticket and asked again if there are any news. I got the following response from the support specialist i talked to the other time.

According to this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MaKpxjN9EgI OwlCat no longer own the rights to this game and can't update it anymore. That doesn't explain why it wasn't done in the 1st place but it may be too late now.

Though I think WINE can probably run the Windows version no problem.
