anythings best saved either for quests or better prices. My wife tells me there are little "Halos" around quest items as well as some other things...But I can see 'em

Thanke for the advice.

I've held on to a few items that had those halos, too, for what turned out to no reason. I still have The Stag Lord's Wine, for example. :P
Yes, items with a halo can be interesting to save.

I don't know for all of them but I recently discovered that old elven loreteller in chapter 2, who buys antiques for a very good price, far above the price a standard merchant will offer you for those.

He is also Telling a stories (he is Storyteller not Loreteler btw) for sets of items. For each set You'll get huge amiunt of gold and pretty nice pool of exp. Stories are really interesting if someone is more than just clicking off all the dialogue options and if you manage to ask the right questions.

Godd*mn it

*Goes back to the trading post to buy back all the broken crap the party unloaded on Oleg*

Thanks for the tip! I might as well ask, are the old coins and the dryad tokens usable later too? I kept the cyclop coin because a carving suggested it could be useful, but I sold most of the other, as well as the tokens (those custom companions aren't cheap you know)

The same guy for much more than with merchant.
Yeah, three types of old coins, dryad tokens, taldan warrior amulets....I think that's all of them.
The cold Iron dagger +1 should be saved. It's not a quest item, but you'll be very happy you saved it for a certain fight that pops up later.
Don't sell any relics or artifacts to Oleg, because he only gives a pittance for them. You are much better off hanging on to them to sell to the storyteller after you get your barony. This includes any coins, dryad tokens, etc.
