So I've noticed that the music in the PC version of Pandemonium 1 does not loop. The track will end and the soundtrack will be dead silent for a good while before the next song starts up. This is extremely annoying as the soundtrack is very good and it just stopping like this kills the vibe of the game for me. Is there anyway to fix this issue?

Also I've noticed that some of the songs that are playing on certain levels aren't the songs that are supposed to be playing, such as the first part of the Hollow Stairway using the song from the second part after you break through the glass roof. And the song playing on the second part of the Hollow Stairway level uses the music from Dungeon Tower instead of its own song! What gives? Why did they do this for the PC version?

NoxTM: Replying to an old post, but still:
Didn't the PC version have far less music than the PlayStation? One track per level instead? Perhaps music was shuffled about because of this, I don't know. However I too noticed the silence, so I forwarded that on to GOG. Games than use nGlide seem to have a music issue; Outlaws has a similar problem, and even cuts off the music if you press Escape to go to the menu; it'll only play again when the track reaches the point where it usually loops (whenever that may be from the 'menu' time).
I'm necrobumping this but I think this is relevant.

It's not a Glide problem, the standard version (PANDY.EXE) also doesn't loop the tracks when it ends, in both of its modes. Tinkering with Gouraud shading or texturing options (not available with 3dfx binary) doesn't help either.

Your best bet would be to push escape to access the menu - this should restart the loop.
I also have this issue.
The sound is half of the overall experience and this is a really annoying issue.
I also have this issue, but if it was an issue with the original game too than there's nothing GOG can really do.
Okay Guys I found a way to fix this !!!!

- Download both dll and copy them to your Pandemonium directory (audiere.dll and win32.dll)
- replace the music .ogg in MUSIC folder by the one I have given
- TADA it works !!

I always remembered that music were looping on this game so I compared one by one files of my old game and this one.

Hi Levrifon,

Thanks but I saw too late your answer and the link is dead, so I didn't have the time to dowload the files. :/

You should try Mega or Dropbox to put the files. ^^
