The latest Steam patch fixes this problem. So if anybody had this problem, just wait, version 18709 should get online at GoG too in near future (hopefully).

Meanwhile it can help to click very fast through the conversation. Here it did work before the patch. Better save before starting conversation again ;-)

I can confirm that this works. After i selected "yes" when given the option to buy the magwa, i hammered the A button on my 360 pad and got it this way.

Crap, installed the current patch (GOG version, of course), hoping that the issue would go away. Something seems to have changed but it still doesn't work properly. Most of the time the magwa doesn't appear in Logar's hand and he hands me... nothing. And then I have to wait for like ten seconds until the conversation continues but I don't have the magwa.

Sadly I had to reload to a moment before I successfully got a magwa and I haven't been able to get it again after five attempts. I think I'm gonna wait for yet another patch. :P

Aww, man, this whole 1.1 version pisses me off. The original didn't have any critical bugs that prevent you from progressing further in the game. :(

But the solution suggesting to click through the conversation after choosing YES works.

The original game is still available in the extras from GOG. It has a weird name though... product_bonus_38603.

I know that, the thing is that this version does not work well on my laptop with Vista installed. Besides, I fixed the Shamaz issue, so I can move on, but I heard there's a number of problems with the game that make it difficult or impossible to complete.

I'm looking forward to Fresh3D fixing performance issues.

The Magwa never appeared in my inventory after speaking to Logar. I can't ask Logar for another and yet I have the conversation option now to give to to the Shamaz - but the PC replies he doesn't actually have it when this is attempted. The game for me is now totally broken and impossible for me to continue.

Pity it's in such a bad and buggy state.

redownload it ... and install it again theirs new version build 18715 fixes this problem ... it only happens on a way way way way way older version if you play it ...
