I know realms of the haunting was the same engine but isn't really anything like it. Other point and click games seemed to go from 2d to pre-rendered 3d to realtime 3d except for this.
I know its not really the same, but Realms of The Haunting was something like Normality:).

It was just a lot less a graphic adventure and a lot more an fps but at the time i always thought of Normality when playing it:).

By the way i should check if it is on GOG already. That game was a gem.

It was developed by the same company with the graphic engine of Normailty.

ROTH is on GOG and I second your recommendation, a great game! Still have the original CDs.

I know this is an old post and you might have already gotten this answered someplace else. But in case if you were still wondering or anybody else does I might suggest the Tex Murphy games from the mid to late 1990s like Under a Killing Moon and Pandora Directive. That are atleast the only other adventure games I can think of that uses 2.5d graphics (mixed with lots of FMV though). Should be noted that the Tex Murphy games also had a bit different keyboard control setup than Normality and Realms of the Haunting. You can change your stance really low or high to reach some stuff better for example.

Good point. I always think of Tex Murphey in terms of it being an FMV game, forgot that it had the 2.5D parts.
