GOG Team, can you please tell us whether the NEXT patch will come to GOG and in what form? (only through Galaxy? As it was until now? not at all?)
+1, I like to know this as well?
i have a bad feeling about it. We didn't get the multiplayer with the Atlas Rises patch last year, so unless HG completely reworked how MP is done so GOG can use it, i fear we might be out of luck.
GOG posted on Twitter that they will have news about the update. I expect that will be sometime today.

is that a new post or the one from last friday where they said they would have news next week?

I don't know that's what they told me when I asked last week. They told me they would have news in the coming days.

I'm not concerned with multiplayer myself, seeing how the patch has changed mostly everything. I'm wondering if we even get the patch the same day as everywhere else. I plan on doing a fresh run through when the patch drops. So wondering how long I could possibly have to wait.

If the past updates are any indication, it should end up on Galaxy not long after Steam.

Well that's good to hear at least. Here is hoping the wait isn't long.

Today the MP work great and we share the same univers than steam player...
so the MP architecture is already operational, I don't see what could be a problem for the NEXT update.

that is not 100% accurate since we did NOT get the multiplayer orb functionality that Stream and the other platforms got with atlas rises due to lack of VOIP in galaxy. if that part isnt fixed or is still required for MP then we will be getting NEXT without multiplayer functions just like we did with Atlas Rises.
The communication surrounding NEXT has been really poor on GoGs end.
We're stuck in a position where we don't even know if we're getting the update at all, let alone if it's going to be missing the multiplayer aspect. They've said they will be "making an announcement" but with only a few hours left until NEXT releases on every other platform I feel that they're cutting this incredibly fine.
If it wasn't for the fact that we didn't get the multiplayer features of Atlas Rising I wouldn't be concerned but as someone who is really quite excited to play NEXT with a group of friends (whom all have the game on Steam) I'm in the frustrating position of not knowing if I'm going to have to buy a second copy of the game (at full price quite possibly) just because GoG didn't get their comms sorted out.
My concerns may be all irrelevant and NEXT may well release on GoG at the same time as the other platforms alongside full multiplayer but their silence on the matter is very concerning.
@LordHogFred,

GOG did an official twitter (twit/twat/twot?) on this (not sure where the link is as i don't do twitter) to say ALL the mp functionality will be in the GOG version except for VOIP as Galaxy does not support that (yet).

That's good, but I'd be very interested to see that. If they've already confirmed that information I don't know why they aren't being a lot more forthcoming with it. I asked them on Twitter last week and all I got was a response saying they will have an announcement this week :(

I found that, but not sure if that is what i've seen referenced?
