I own the game on steam and multiplayer support was ended and the game was actually removed from steam but i can still play it.

Because the servers were on the bioware side of things, does this mean that NWN2 no longer supports that aspect either?
Or can you log in to new servers on the gog version and access content like you used to be able to?

For playing modules, if it's anything like NWN1, the "servers" were only there to match you up to other players.

You could always direct connect to other players, which IMO is pretty much the only way that made sense anyway. NWN is not the type of game where you just want to play with random strangers.

For persistent world servers, the community had solutions running almost as soon as the official "servers" went down. Most PWs have web pages that will give you all the info you need to log in.

Client extension restores Multiplayer functionality.
