Hi i know theres alot of posts on installation problems but i seem to have one that nobody else has.. i downloaded all 6 files for NWN2 and have them all in the same folder.. when i open the .exe file it opens a window that says "Installer needs the next part (.BIN) file, Please specify the location of part 5 and click ok. so i do that and no matter where i move those 6 files it says "The file could not be located in the installers folder. Please make sure that the file is in the correct folder, or specify its current location. what do i do?!??! ive been dying to play this game for about 10 years and i finally buy it and cant even make it passed the first installation part.. :/ yes i tried disabling my anti virus and running it as an admin
Are you using the gog downloader or use the browser only?
How about re-download part 5 using the browser?

As long the Gog Installer ask for the UAC (the window asking your permit to something) it's not importan for the installation. And even better, NWN2 don't has any problem with savegames or character due everything is saved on the <user>/My Documents not on the installed director..

Trying to re-download the file 5 as wongheiming said is a good idea, if vitality62 used the manual/browser option to download it should try again with the GOG downloader or even again with the browser (Sometimes, the download just got corrupted)
Nice, i deleted everything and then redownloaded it with the gog downloader and it started to install fine.. i should have done that in the first place :o! thanks guys

It may not matter during the installation, but as a rule: never install a game into the Program Files folder, never ever if you're going to mod that game.

There's no benefit to it. Only headaches to come.

Seconded. Install to another directory (folder) other than the Gog-installer default; preferably to an entirely different partition if you have created one (Gigantic c:\ drives are just disasters waiting to happen, imo!)
