Hello. Me and my brother have tried just about everything to be able to play Neverwinter Nights Diamond Edition multiplayer together.

We've gotteh the CD keys via email, we've changed both of our Client Ports and Game Ports to unique numbers, we've tried removing and restoring keys.

Everytime I try to join my brother's LAN game or vice versa it says "Failure to connect. This CD Key is already in use on this server" or something to that effect. We checked the keys that GOG sends and the one they sent to my email is the exact same as his

Any help would be appreciated

You both need unique CD keys. You cannot have the same key.
If you are connecting by LAN one of you can use your unique CD key provided by GoG for use in MP, and the other can use the generic CD key provided with the initial install of the game.
Thanks for the advice, we'll try deleting one of our emailed CD keys. I've asked for a unique emailed key before but they just sent the same one
Once you applied your unique keys, did you run the Premium Modules Re-installer? I think this is a necessary step to register the new keys with all the included addons.
Yes, we both used the premium re-installer. Just tried what urknighterrant suggested and still says CD key is already in use on this server =(.

Anyone else know what we could try?

Edit: Wanted to ask if in the file nwncdkey the keys Key1/Key2/Key3 need to be different as well or if someone could give a detailed list of instructions for what to do. Thanks again for any advice given

Well I thought I'd ask GOG again for CD keys and they sent different one's this time, and now multiplayer is working fine.

Thanks again all for the quick responses and help

Everything you need to know is here.

Your CD key is tied to your email address. Each email address may only get ONE copy of the game and ONE cd key.
