Twice I've worked characters up to 9-11th level in the Storm of Zehir game only to lose everything. First was a badass warlock, made it to 9th, second was agreat spirit shaman/storm lord who made it to 11th, almost left part one.

In both instances I could not load saved games, even when I'd saved three different versions prior. It's like the whole thing gets corrupted regardless of which save it crashes from. I love the module (the random wandering encounters rock, the ability to totally design a party is awesome), but afraid to start a new one for obvious reasons.

Anybody else having similar problems? This only happens in the Storm of Zehir campaign, maybe related to its unique wandering encounter aspect/overland screen?

Run as admin? That might be it. Windows 8, the cell phone operating system. Getting used to it...

Might be, if the game doesn't get permissions to write it's save. or all of it, can lead to corrupt savegames.
But that shouldn't lead to previously working save to suddenly stop working, so might be something else.

Well, made it to next level but whenever I try to go back to the Crossroads Keep the game crashes and I get a message about corrupted save. At least I can reload campaign now...but cannot enter Crossroads keep, which is needed to do the trade thing. Hmmm...perhaps need to reinstall entire game.
