What can I use for storage? Do I get house or is there a place where I can stash my stuff without worrying?

Everything is persistent in NWN -- much to my annoyance -- which means it's safe to just dump things anywhere, even on the ground. There is a storage trunk at Crossroads Keep, and you can also buy magic bags -- never pass one up.

Word of warning, though: because of the way NWN1 is constructed, you cannot move back to areas from previous chapters. So if you leave stuff somewhere in chapter 1 of the OC or an expansion and then move on to chapter 2, it's lost.

In NWN2 you can move back... most of the time. Though by no means always. I never actually tested if items remained when moving back and forth to different modules there, though.
