The world needs a decent MMORPG as one still doesn't exist :-P

On a more serious note...this is seriously a well balanced and huge module! The best Nordock module if you ask me and I've played many of them.

It uses a database.

The module was released for the public from the Genesis Nordock team on the vault. Umm ok...that might be a problem. Thankfully I got it here somewhere. Both the original download from the vault and my own edited version (better xp balance for some areas).

On a more serious note...this is seriously a well balanced and huge module! The best Nordock module if you ask me and I've played many of them.

Do you mean for download or do you mean host the module as a server using nwserver.exe ?

If the latter, are you aware that there are at least two Nordock modules being hosted online now? Both look pretty much empty. Is there a reason a third Nordock module should be offered for login?

In the event you were unaware that there were so many Nordocks online and were just itching to work on a server again - come join our server, we need DMs, and GUEST BUILDERS, but unlike other servers, we offer custom system to support swimming, flying, squeeze-tru, 100+ custom spells, 1337+ areas and more... even with all that, we need builders to help create quests that utilize all these lovely features. IIRC you visited our server long ago, you may recall our tools for making custom magic items - anything NWN can do, we can build it into an item while logged in live. found this post via google and just had to comment

nordock genesis was a great server, completely ruined by DM favouritism and BS rules. in it's heyday, it was an amazing place. then servers & DMs switched and everything slowly collapsed in on itself in a bunch of ridiculous rules and favouritism - DMs who constantly criticised and punished the handful of players that kept it active, but did nothing themselves to contribute to players RP/activity, beyond that one really narrow story about the mayor and "the nine" (that only 4 people were involved in but seemingly needed to require all of the DMs attention and energy)

I personally would love to see it resurrected, and I've often considered getting a server to run it. But the way that server went down still grinds my gears.

thoose Nordock servers that are online naturally don't use the module that I am interested in.

(as you know there are many versions of Nordock).

We all yearn time to time to get Genesis back up and running to experience those amazing good times what we had once again. But It wouldn't be the same anymore. Too much time has passed.
I've tried couple years later, but it didn't feel right. I missed the players, I missed the salty dog's tavern, .. exploring high level areas etc ..
December 24th at 2009 was a sad day.
