If you're looking for something of original, I'd recommend Realms of Trinity. We're a roleplay & storyling PW that's been around for a while, currently one of the NWN2 PW's with the highest population. Actively developing content (we're currently working on our third campaign), and we have our own custom class changes along with the latest Kaedrin's PrC pack.

Jarmo: There's a generic CD-key included in NWN1 dowload which works for all singleplayer stuff, for some funky reason one needs an unique key for multiplayer.
avatar
Darvin: It's because the CD-key is used to uniquely identify players. This makes it technically impossible for two people with the same CD-key to be in the same game.

Jarmo: NWN authentication servers are shutting down this month and I'm all unsure of what that means for multiplayer gaming.
avatar
Darvin: Nothing; it just means the auto-patcher won't work, so people with physical copies will need to manually patch. The NWN multiplayer community has been fully independent of any official servers or support for some time.

The only thing that's going to be lost are three of the premium modules that are dependent on an authentication server. Infinite Dungeons, Pirates of the Sword Coast, and Wyvren Knights of Cormyr were all DRM'd (unlike the previous three premium modules, which got physical releases) and will stop functioning when the servers get pulled down. These three modules are not included in the GOG release.
I got the three premium modules (Infinite Dungeons, Pirates of the Sword Coast, and Wyvern Crown of Cormyr) elsewhere, and they are still functioning on my computer. They can be played just with the CD-KEY from GOG. Perhaps the server for DRM checking is independent?
BTW, anyone who has a interest in these modules can found them here: http://www.gog.com/forum/neverwinter_nights_series/premium_modules_1/?search=wyvern
I just downloaded those three premium modules, installed them in my Wineskin, and they run fine. It says it's checking them, and lets it go on just fine.

Yeah, supposedly the authentication server for the modules is still up which is great! It also make sense that they wouldn't disable it, because then all legal owners couldn't play them and would be able to sue them.

Unless of course the modules are set to allow you through if the auth server is out of contact or simply gone.

The server no longer checks ownership of specific Premium Modules but is still required to exist; the game won't proceed if it can't get a response (otherwise you could simply disconnect from the internet to defeat the DRM check).

The Diamond Edition includes files that disable the online checks for the included modules; when the server goes down permanently I'd expect someone will figure out a way of adapting that to work for the other Premium modules.
