I've unfortunately never had to this before, so forgive me I don't describe the problem very well. Basically, the game started up fine. I selected new game, chose the default module, created a character, got to the load screen, and when it came time for the in-game graphics to work...I got a black screen and an error message.

The NVIDIA OpenGL driver lost connection with the display driver due to exceeding the Windows Time-Out limit and is unable to continue.

The application must close.

Which, from what I understand, means my system finds the graphics too hard to render, despite being a game from the early 2000s and this being a custom-built gaming computer that can play every new release without the slightest issue. So, it might just be an old game thing. I tried looking through the threads that already exist, but I couldn't find anything on this problem. So, anyway, I'm not exactly sure how to get my exact specs, but here are the ones I could find.

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4690K CPU @ 3.50GHz 3.50 GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 16.0 GB (15.9 usable)
OS: Windows 7 Professional (64-bit)
Graphics Cards: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600, NVidia GeForce GTX 970 (of which I have two)

Hope someone can help.

Maybe the game isn't able to handle your graphics hardware setup. I'd try disabling SLI and run it only on one graphics chip. Try also forcing the use of only the Intel HD for a test.
