Hej,

looking for what it says in the title - more Planescape (or Arcanum, in a way) then Baldur's Gate approach. There's so many modules out there and the vault doesn't really allow for filtering in a useful way - so, do you know of something that you'd recommend?

(Darkness over Daggerford, while decentish, isn't really doing much for me, for example.)

Thank you.

Mnemon: Hej,
My recommendation would be Honor Among Thieves

.. and if you end up somewhat able to continue, then carry the character on to The Prophet by the same author.
I find A Dance with Rogues to be heavy on roleplaying and c&c, and light on hack & slash. Perfect combination for my taste.

The Prophet is the benchmark for me. I judge all games and stories by how well they compare to The Prophet and all pales in comparison.
I played it in RP though with my friend. Taking our time and pretending that we really were our characters.
There has been no greater story ever written than The Prophet.
Lord of The Rings is about some fighting and a couple of midgets making a delivery in comparison
