I installed the game a few days ago - after the big D&D sale - and I really can't play it. The loading times are making the game unplayable.
Just now : going out of one of the cemetary crypts - 2 minutes of loading screen - going to Harbour - 3 minutes - going to Bandit Camp - 3 minutes. All that just to "play" 20 seconds - I needed to see the healer.
It's frustrating, and I'm about to uninstall the game... It's just unplayable. So before I come to that, is there anybody who has a tip ? I feel like there is something wrong on my end, but can't see what. I'd like to play OC and MotB at least... :/
I play on my laptop - i5 2.4 GHz, 4 Go RAM - Geforce 520mx. Not perfect, but still very nice and I play much more recent games. My only mods are the better IA and SlimUI ones. All the settings are already on low but that doesn't seem to help.
